Apparently for this evening they're predicting "thunderstorms with little or no rain." I think this sort of thing is a really, really unfair trick on the part of Mother Nature and should be stopped.
When I was a kid, I remember reading an article about the Sahara Desert that said how it was so dry there the rain would evaporate before it hit the ground. I thought that was the most bizarre and unbelievable thing I'd ever heard... And now I'm living it.
