But I'm Writing This On My Designated Break Period. Really.

I find it kind of annoying when people blog just to say they're too busy to blog, but I didn't want anybody to worry that I might have been washed away in the last bout of flooding or something.

The thing is, I've been especially prone to laziness and procrastination of late, and while laziness and procrastination are, in fact, two of my favorite hobbies, there are limits, even for me. So I've declared today and tomorrow Official "Get Your Shit Together and Do Something Productive, You Lazy Slob" Days. So far, I've mostly been working on housekeeping type stuff: six loads of laundry (I loaded it up and took it all the to laundromat rather than wade through the swamp twelve times to make use of the clothesline), washing the dishes, cleaning up some of the chaos generated after the last leaking-roof incident, vacuuming... You probably still wouldn't know to look at the place that I've done any cleaning at all in recent memory, but I do think that the entropy level is at least a little lower in here today than it was yesterday.[*]

Tonight (or possibly tomorrow, if I let the procrastination bug bite me again) I'm hoping to get some less physical stuff done, like working on my Phoenix zine and possibly a few other projects which, amazingly enough, actually involve writing things other than blog entries.

So, if you catch me writing something long and involved here tomorrow, yell at me, OK?

[*] Geeky physics reference. Sorry.
