Betty Is...

OK, have you seen this silly little "game" yet? You go to Google and type in your first name and the word "is" in quotes, e.g. "Betty is". And then you see what hilarities result. For your delight and edification, my first couple of pages worth of results are presented to you below. Needless to say, they're all taken out of context, and many of 'em were really only sentence fragments originally. I'd say a fair proportion of them actually started with "Nurse Betty..." One of these days, I'm actually gonna have to see that movie.

Betty is interviewed.

Betty is on the road promoting the Dream Book.

Betty is as popular now as she has ever been.

Betty is an artist whose music has been decribed in such reverential tones as -- "..intelligent as it is spiritual..."

Betty is traumatized to the point that she actually believes she is Nurse Betty.

Betty is about integrating and aligning.

Betty is sole US winner at Cannes.

Betty is not intended to replace the advice of a doctor or professional piercer.

Betty is back.

Betty is just what the doctor ordered.

Betty is a Real Estate Agent that is known in the community of Bowmanville for her dedicated client service.

Betty is an enchanting anachronism.

Betty is led to a Paris restaurant by a stranger.

Betty is definitely not a villainess, nor is she a heroine by any means.

Betty is about her search for the man of her dreams.

Betty is a wonderful movie.

Betty is being treated so well.
